“27% yoy growth recorded in China’s industrial robot output in Jan-Feb 2025”
Data released by the National Bureau of Statistics on March 17 shows that China’s value-added industrial output above designated size grew by 5.9% year-on-year in the January-February period of 2025. The robotics sector exhibited particularly strong momentum, with industrial robot production reaching 91,088 units during this period, up 27.0% from a year earlier. Service robot output surged to 1.494 million units, a 35.7% increase, while robot reducer production saw an extraordinary 95.8% growth.
